Privacy Notice for California Residents

HIPAA Exemption Note: Medical information governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is exempt from the CCPA/CPRA. This notice applies only to personal information collected outside of your medical care (e.g., website browsing data, newsletter signups).

I. Your CCPA Rights

If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as data required to complete a transaction or comply with legal obligations).
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.

II. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

ForgeMeds does not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, under the CCPA/CPRA, the use of certain third-party tracking cookies for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt-out of this sharing. To exercise this right, please email privacy@forgemeds.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell/Share My Info".

III. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, or provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
